What changed and why.

The redesign treats Parivahan as a daily public-service tool: official, calm, accessible, and action-oriented. The goal is to reduce confusion for users who may be applying from mobile phones with limited time or low confidence.

Problem

Transport services are high-stakes and form-heavy. Users need to know what service to choose, which documents are required, how much they must pay, and where their application currently stands.

Solution

A mobile-first dashboard gives users direct service cards, search, a quick tracker, and guided steps for a common Driving License renewal flow.

Design Decisions

  • Navy base color preserves official government trust.
  • Saffron action color highlights primary tasks without feeling flashy.
  • Green confirms help, completion, and paid states.
  • Large buttons, short labels, and visible progress reduce cognitive load.
